Description
Front and Back view.
My beautiful baby and apple! It is fiiiiinally bisqued and survived... sorta. The apple basically shattered on me in the same 20 places before and after the firing. I fixed the cracks with epoxy and need to finish making it pretty (I photoshopped out the cracks)
The entire baby and apple are coil built, except for the face/hands/feet/stem/leaf which are pinch.
This took me about 3 months to do, so enjoy.
I will have the apple painted with auto paint and the rest with acrylics later on.
I will also be adding an umbilical cord connecting the baby to the apple.
The apple is 16"x14"x15", and the baby is 12"x7"x6"
This is my first sculptural piece... ever... so please tell me what you honestly think of it!

OEMGEE!!!!!!! btw I hope you think I'm not spamming. Your skills with clay ar supreme! The baby is sooo realistic! (Got two at home) and the concept is like none other! You are AMAZING at art and PLZ NEVER STOP! To put the baby inside was extremely smart. And I hope that you do more pices just like it!
